About Us
Our Why
Leadership begins at youth. Although tweens are between the ages of 9 - 12, the Leadership Initiative for Tweens program is designed for youth ages 9-15 (4th - 10th grade). Our mission is to reach Tweens all over the world and help them build their confidence and leadership skills, while providing parents and guardians with tips and encouragement through the tween years that they will be able to practice through each level of life. We believe everyone is a leader. We believe in you!
Realizing that 1 in 100,000 youth between the ages of 10-14 and 7 in 100,000 youth between the ages of 15 - 19 commit suicide each year (NIMH), our goal is to be a positive influence and resource for the youth and build their confidence through leadership skills and tools. One youth suicide is too many. #youthsuicideawareness
Who we are
Leadership Initiative for Tweens (LIT) is a program offered by Principium Resources LLC. The President and Founder, Tiffany Johnson, believes in giving back to the community. In her community service, she recognized the need for building a community of youth and providing them with tools and skills that may help build confidence, develop them as leaders and create awareness. Hearing story, after story and observing themes throughout her community, Tiffany built a program focused on the youth ages 9-15 (4th grade - 10th grade).
Leadership Initiative for Tweens and Principium Resources LLC leaders are not licensed counselors or doctors. We provide programs and activities that encourage leadership skills and values for our youth. If your tween/teen is experiencing a behavior that you believe requires attention, please seek out professional help or call 9-1-1 if it is an emergency.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Leadership Initiative for Tweens includes That's So L.I.T., which Tiffany and her two youngest sons play an active role. Together, they created a YouTube channel Leadership Initiative for Tweens (LIT) that has videos and interviews. The videos are fun and educational.
The program also includes the Leadership Initiative for Tweens Facebook Group for tweens, teens and parents. The Facebook group provides Facebook Live lessons, relative videos, fun activities, affirmations and so much more.

- Email us with topics your tween/teen is facing.
- Refer your friends and family who have tweens/teens to our group or this website.

Leadership Initiative for Tweens offers free and paid services. We are active in the community and provide many free or low cost services. Additionally, we have our membership which is a low rate of $19.99/month.
